Alas, I wish this was true. I have bought a lot of different types of 4mm plugs but they are all very loose fits and drop out of the probe. I wondered if a shrouded connector lead would be a better fit?
What I have found with cheaper hook / grabber probes is that they have a very poor connection. The KLEPS ones are the best I have used but I cannot find suitable 4mm connectors / banana plugs that will securely fit.
