Analogue Meter Limitations

Please beware of using cheap meters (digital or analogue) on high voltage and/or current circuits. Leaving aside the probes which are likely to be unsafe the meter itself may not be happy for too long. Cheap meters have a lot of uses and are great for leaving around in the car or odd toolboxes but if you're dealing with real power then use something a bit safer.
