Just having a coffee. Been putting filler around the windows. Yes, mixers. I winded up last night going back to the Hartley diagram using a valve. One thing I noticed is theoretically, when the grid cathode voltage rises, the anode cathode voltage should drop. However, the AC signal on the anode factors in as well, while the cathode is tapped midway. Descriptions though in ARRL are often poor and fall short of online tutorials. Either the ARRL technicians were geniuses or maybe they never understood their own explanations.
