I found a nice diagram of a BJT PNP mixer circuit to upload.. I have been applying some of Mark's teaching by doing a few calculations on the voltages and currents. I also learned a little about alpha and beta.
I am now urgently busy doing my boat work so my radio work is done while walking my dog (circuit sums) or late at night. I try to keep up with doing at least something and time out is OK for going over basics.
Maybe later I can apply it to the Astrad diagram. I still find transistors very new and a lot of basic stuff was unclear. Maybe I will print the diagram of the common emitter mixer circuit with its resistances.
