Hi, i will take the case off again before long, take some pictures of the insides, the transformers came from a substation, over done so were the electrolytics, massine square can type, i had a quick look and there seems to be a couple of visconals, in the EHT citcuit, the EHT rectifier is a british four pin, ballon job, its a monster, there are some EF50,s Luke, other large ballon type valves some on their side, to keep the unit smaller i guess, the probe is overdone, just bought a spare probe complete for under a fiver, off ebay, i have larger Tec scopes 535-545 etc, but this one stood out, its the sheer "old looks inside" and outside that attracted me to it, the cost, about £6.00 in petrol to go and pick it up, i had it given for nothing from a member of another forum. quite a gift litrally, i hate to see quality vintage gear end up in the landfill....Alan.
