Certainly a well made and useful scope, but I think it would be going too far to consider it the pinnacle of test equipment in 1951.
Sadly, unless there is a Tektronix badge on it, old scopes are very much neglected (all together now, aaarrrrr) and end up dumped minus the transformers and valves.
I've now got two of the 13A's - time to re-inforce the floor!!!
