Interesting to learn that the KR016 was made in Rhodesia. In 1965 Ian Smith declared UDI and shortly after trade sanctions were implemented by the Wison government.

I do remember these sets, both KB and RGD versions, seem to remember the sets were on sale 1968?
I knew that the sets were made in Africa. Evidently, good receivers. The RGD dealer in Newcastle supplied TVs to my fledgling TV rental business, starting with VC4 models. He did sell small number of the RGD version, the RR214.
