Folks,
A number like "CTxxx" usually refers to the military "common test" gear series. The military EMER docs that will tell you everything you need to know have the reference numbers "EMER T&M B260 to B269".
There's a pic of the Airmec 314 at http://www.thevalvepage.com/testeq/airmec/a314/a314.htm - which might help you confirm that yours is one and the same beast.
It looks like someone on the vintage radio forum bought a copy of the manual from Ben Duncan Research http://www.benduncanresearch.com/manuals.htm. You might contact him to see if you can buy a copy of him, and save the full cost of another copy from Ben Duncan.
