Yes, I agree that the slow ohms is a pain - the only real minus, really...
Having used it over the last few weeks, you do get used to it. And I have used meters that are slower, so perhaps I made too big a fuss about it. But I guess I've been spoiled by the various Flukes that I use

As for auto-ranging, I've never had a problem with it. Very, very occasionally, it's useful to switch to manual ranging - and that's something that the Bside doesn't allow, sadly. I do have some meters that are manual ranging only, and I'm able to hop between each with no problem - but do understand that some people have strong preferences for manual.
