Your review of the Bside ones put me off, Mark. I don't like auto-ranging but the slow ohms reading was the killer as ease of taking resistance measurements is the only place that digital meters score over moving coil ones as far as I'm concerned. OK, they also don't have to be placed flat, are more likely to survive being dropped and are cheap enough to regard as disposable.
The leads are quite nice. Unfortunately the probes look like they are sealed to the wire so if, and when, that breaks it won't be possible to re-wire them.
