My box doesn't have a type number, just the Andonstar name and a bit of other text. It's clearly the v160 as it has all the odd accessories. I guess the software I've found just doesn't do 1600x1200. Nick, the correct files would be much appreciated. Thanks.
In practice if you're manipulating something interactively in real time (eg SM soldering) you probably don't want to go above 800x600 as the frame rate drops below 30Hz. This was flagged in the EEVblog review.
