Given how cheap it is, I felt a bit cheeky trying it, but the "Make Offer" button was there... So, it turns out that the seller will accept £35 for these (every little helps!). Does anyone fancy trying a lower offer
Nick's was shipped from the UK - they obviously have stock here, so that avoids any import duties, etc. Though everything I've bought from China comes with a "conservative" value for customs purposes, and I've never had to pay anything extra.
This makes a change from the usual eBay thing, where a Chinese seller claims to have UK stock, but it ends up coming from China anyway (with a massive delay, of course). I always complain when that happens, but no-one cares. It's possible these sellers do carry some lines in the UK, but just not the things I've ordered, or it's perhaps more likely that the whole outfit is a "drop shipping" operation, but with a false promise of UK stock (usually, you have a choice of several suppliers, all offering the same thing for the same price within a few pence - in which case, UK delivery might tip the balance).
