Sounds like a funny with an email server - perhaps the virus scanning went awry? I just dug out my email from them, and it was fine... Delivery was nice and quick, too. They will have tested it and put the latest firmware on for you, as well as adding a sticker or two...
That's a monster! But quite a lot of money - you're into Keysight 3000T territory there. I couldn't immediately find a price for the 1GHz versions, but that would be my first option if I was spending company money. Of course, not everyone realises that Keysight are the new Agilent, which is a shame...
