Plenty good enough - mostly the only tests needed are continuity tests fo fault-find on central heating systems.
(Great firm Baxi).
I'ts quite hard to spend more than £20 on a multimeter and few of us need anything fancy, though I know that some like the cachet of owning expensive test gear such as Fluke, which will of course give true RMS readings, albeit I can't think of any applications where I'd need that.
About three years ago I bought a Toolzone meter with large digits, which also measures capacitance and tests transistors. It was just a tenner from an autojumble - I couldn't resist it. It still works fine, and they're still on sale at the same autojumble for £10.00 - £12.00, or can be bought online for about £16.00 . I mentioned it in a thread in the early days of the forum, and I've just revisited the link. The pic was lost when 'absent friends' trashed to forum in August 2011 and pics from posts prior to then were lost, so I've just gone back into the post and edited it to add the pic.
The thread is here, if anyone is interested. (The link to an internet supplier still works).
