Those 3 port valves were the same type I fitted when I installed the oil fired CH system in the last place we were in, I used all Honeywell bits configured as a "Y" plan, I did not fit any isolation valves in the primary circuit (HW) as I thought it could be dangerous if they were inadvertantly left closed.
I do know that any kind of valve in the primary circuit of a solid fuel boiler is an absolute no no for obvious reasons.
The oil fired system I put in worked very well, the only gripe was the cost of the oil, the last lot we bought before we moved was around 28 pence per litre.
