Should have mentioned - the nuclear bomb timer in Goldfinger stopped at... what else... "007" !
The site you mention is Mike Harrison's - an avid member of the neonixie-l group and of various Tesla Coil groups which is another of my pass-times. TC builders are the supposed to be the bane of radio amateurs, but we in the UK group try to contain our stray radiation!
If you look on YouTube, you may find some of the thermite explosions we used to do after out annual Cambridge public exhibition... whilst we contain RF (to an extent) we often failed to contain bricks, molten metal, bits of flowerpots & pumpkin !
