Hello All from Oz,
Managed to purchase a Kelvin & Hughes Supersonic Flaw Detector Mk 5 and has attached a Depth Gauge MK 3.
The reason for buying vintage equipment was mainly for Transformers for Vacuum Tubes and any of the niceties that came with it as my focus is on 'Energy Synthesis' using Tubes.
This machine has a beaut transformer in it and as it also had an Oscilloscope, has a transformer with volts up to 1200 to drive a EN31 Thyratron.
What I am after but have failed to find is a Schematic or Manual and am hoping someone there at Golborne VR may be able to help.
There is much about the Ultrasound use of this equipment on unborn infants on the web but very little on the actual depth gauge use of welding and metals etc.
The person selling this unit also had a US made Branson Audigage and its UK Dawe equivalent plus a Magnaflux Sonizon and as nobody else was interested, I got the lot!
Also have here a UK made Vibron Electrometer Model 62A in perfect condition but is missing its sense head so virtually not useable but was able to buy a Manual with Schematics.
Final request is for Manuals and Schematic for a Taylor Model 94B TV Waveform & Alignment Generator.
This unit has some 23 Vacuum Tubes and looks to be restoreable as it would make an excellent signal generator, 4 to 220 Mhz.
Any assistance on these two items would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou.
