I got this off eBay last week for the princely sum of £8 plus Postage - well, it's Advance. It came in its original box, which I almost threw away 'cause I'd forgotten about it, plus a Manual and the original Invoice.
Its only obvious problem was that one of the rear feet had broken off, but an M4 screw and nut fixed that. The others show signs of soldering iron damage, which I can only think is an attempt to stop the plastic pins which keep them on from falling out. The skirt on the Tuning dial was loose but a few drops of Superglue fixed that. It had of course the mandatory 13A fuse in the plug.
In all honesty it's pretty crude, for example it's not interlaced. According to the Manual it was meant for setting up Dual Standard Colour Tvs, and that's all. However, it gives every impression of working, although I haven't tried it on an actual TV.
I'll copy the whole Manual and Post it in the Archive when I have more time.
I also have an RBM Pattern Generator, which I think is superior.
