Hi Al, yes I know, it can be a grey area, in the description it said it was working, to that extent you could argue that it was but not fully working as it was working on some of the ranges, the whole things a pain really as it was not me that bought it at auction but my wife, a fair bit of her income is derived from online auctions and she has a 100% feedback rating and I don't want her to get into a slanging match on my behalf, this she would probably have to do as it was her that bid albeit on my behalf and won the item. I alone took the decision to open up the unit and repair it so it would be difficult for me to return it as "received not working" In all of this it amounts to a miss description, the fault could not have happened in transit and as such I or my wife will not be bidding on any items listed by the seller in future, I have to be carefull here so far as this forum goes so I will leave it at that however I appreciate your concerns so thanks for that.
