My Christmas present to myself - an EMC213 value tester. Not the most sophisticated device out there but for a novice like me, enough to be getting on with. It came with the original operating manual but it has been used a lot so its in pretty poor shape. I've scanned it so can add it to the library in case anyone else needs one.
A mate dropped round the day it arrived and I mentioned that I need to get a step down T/F for it and he said he had a spare I could have - how's that for a happy coincidence!
