i agree . i had a degausing wand made out of a set of degausung coils from a g6 formed into 8 inch circle wraped in tape fixed to a square of wood with a cuboard handle on the back, worked well but got a bit hot,some one spoilt my fun by telling me its easier to use my weller soldering gun doh
allso my loverly light bulb tube reactvator very pretty withn its 3 pygmy lamps on the top ,heat up the tube switch on the ht the turn off heaters leave ht on and knock crt neck with tool handel and watch firework display

if its made by hand it can be repaired by hand
