I had a valve come in a lavatory roll middle in a jiffy bag. Given that it leaked like a sodding tap I wish it HAD got smashed.:badmood:
It isn't just amateur e-Bay sellers but the shops and other mail order businesses who should really know better and I often wonder how things have survived the journey.
I hope you get things sorted out, Rob. Fixable it may be but if you'd wanted a wooden jigsaw you'd have bought one.
