I can't be bothered to look for the receipt but I think the bad was bought n 1948; it must be around then as it's got a Utility Mark on it.
I think there is something in the idea of wood-worm being fussy eaters. I've got some rough old tools in a drawer in the shed. he drawer bottom is riddled but the sides aren't touched and neither are the tool handles, the shed itself or other timber that's stored in there. I would re-new this bottom but I think while they're enjoying that they're leaving everything else alone.
