I won one of these at auction the other day, I was the only bidder, trouble was the postage was twice as much as the bid.
Anyway, not got round to trying it on signal yet but the meter seems to be ok, kicks over when tested on ohms on my Avo.
One of the switch shafts was very stiff, sorted that out, a wire off, sorted that out, three O/C resistors on the impedance selector switch, will be able to repair/replace them ok.
The Matching transformer seems to check out ok.
Question is has anyone got a manual for one of these? It's not the commonly available manual that's on the web that particular one is definately different to the guts of the TF 340 I have, the one I have is a TF 340 not TF 340/1, 2, etc.
The switches look like they are from Marconi's originall spark transmitter....
