I don't know Al, but there is something about it I like, wait 'till you have to restring that CR100 of yours, I did my CR300 a while back, although I succeded with it ok, I can't say it was the easiest restring I've done.
Hmm; re-stringing drive cords: one task I absolutely hate. Especially wire ones - like in vintage Philips wireless sets, e.g. TG170A. As for my CR.100, the last time I looked, it was O.K. . . . but one day, just one day . . . .
Shame it's collection only - or not given that I'm trying to get rid of stuff not add to it. The fact most of the screws are missing implies it's been 'Got at.' I wonder if it's an attempt at fitting a fine control as the location of the bottom left knob seems to partly obscure the table next to it and doesn't match its chums.
The first drive cord I had to fix was a Philips. They've all seemed easy after that.
