It does for the moment Rob, could do with a 'scope and an old style sweep generator (wobbulator) and a universal bridge of some kind, given time i expect they will come my way.
Lawrence: I've has a look at those photos. Can I ask you to provide a description of each item, please, either directly at the Gallery or to me personally (so that I can add such data), by a reply here on in a P.M. I also note that the focussing on at least one item is not good: any chance of re-takes, please?

Thanks for your help with this.

Hello Al, I presume a description other than what I entered in the comments box, if so how do I go about updating from my end.
Regarding the photo's I think it's a combination of my micky mouse camera and shaking hands, the BC 221-Q Frequency Meter seems to be the worst ( actually that shot was the clearest of two I had taken of it!) I will have another go at that one but it will be tomorrow and I will ask the misses to have a go as she is better than I with the camera.
Lawrence: I owe you an apology: your comments were, and are, indeed there!
The reason I made that previous comment was because I was in Gallery Admin. Mode, and that in that mode, by default, comments and descriptions are not shown unless you go into a rather convoluted access procedure. When I accessed the Gallery as an 'ordinary member', your comments then became visible.
Warning! follows.
Now I hate to sound like a moaner, but as its administrator, I find that the Gallery software (Piwigo) is easily the worst piece of image display software that I have ever used. It is totally non-intuitive, the mouse control is unreliable & unpredictable and its photo and album management facilities are cumbersome at best, absolutely awful at worst. It is also very easy to accidentally delete photos and comments or mis-assign them, etc., etc. However, until something better arrives, I do my best to cope with it.
However, to be positive about this matter, I remain convinced that the Gallery is an essential part of this forum's raison d'etre. Accordingly, whilst I remain as its administrator, I will persevere and try my hardest to perform the duties of the Gallery administrator to the best of my ability. Please note: This rant is not be taken in any negative context towards this forum's owner nor any of its administrators.
End of rant.
Incidentally, re the blurred photo., if you can put the camera on a tripod, (even one of those mini ones), I often find that that helps.
I'll visit the Gallery now and try to make any tweaks that I feel are required.
