What is a drawing board?
Didn't we used to go back to them?

My last tape PCB layout was in 1982. After that it was all CAE/CAD.
My mum was the last drawing board user in her office. I forget when she retired. Might have been early 1990s. So now it's back to the screen. Panning speed used to be important on an 800 x 600 and later 1024 x 768 CRT. Now I've a paper-like HDR 4K 23″ screen, far better mechanical and PCB CAD, but for ten years only used PC to write! Still, I'd hate to go back to a typewriter, which I did have to use in 1970s. |
