Problems with Yahoo.co.uk

Mainly that I am unable to access News items on the Yahoo.co.uk Homepage.  Any time I click on an item Headline or Picture, all that happens is that a Blank Screen is displayed.  At first I thought that Ghostery was preventing the items from displaying, but even with Ghostery Paused this still happens.  I also have Talk Talk 'SuperSafe' and McAfee free editions, and haven't checked whthere one or other of these is blocking access.  Yahoo mail works OK, and all other sites I regularly use work normally, so it may be a fault with Yahoo.co.UK.  Does anyone else have this problem? Regarding Yahoo.co.UK, on the Mail Inbox page, I sometimes have to click on a message header twice to read the message - the first click only produces a blank screen, and I am unable toremove the 'By using Yahoo you agree that we or our partners may use Cookies' , etc., bar at the bottom of the screen, despite clicking on the 'X' two or three times

Yahoo home page and news items working OK here. W7, Firefox up to date. Adblock+ and Ghostery. AVG free antivirus.

It's generally a bad idea to run 2 lots of different real time AV software at once. TT supersafe and McAfee would fall into that category.

Whereas Adblock+ and Ghostery are doing specific jobs that complement what AV does.

I have now uninstalled both Malwarebytes and McAfee, so am now reliant on TalkTalk SuperSafe. Ghostery is still installed, but I currently don't have Adblock, though might reinstall that, given the number of Ads. which appear on some sites. AFAIK Yahoo.co.UK is still misbehaving, but I'm not too concerned about that.

Have you tried using a different DNS server. Google offer a DNS service at, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

TBH, No, Mike. As I said, I'm not too concerned about Yahoo.co.UK's Home page not working properly, and all other sites I use are working OK.
