it's probably just a cap in the psu somewhere.. pretty simple things inside.. just a tuner and meter driver.. not a lot to go wrong.. Are you going to Golborne next week?

far too far away re meater battery check shows nothing yet 9 volt on tuner (should be 12?)movment checked and ok. batteries are 2x pp6 i just used bench psu .your still welcome to borow the newer one
