There were so many faults and components needing replacing, I took the easier path of a quick job!
Plus the fact the bottom row of the tagboard is very difficult to get at. Now it is working perfectly, I can take my time with the re-wire. I am still using the older type 40/60 tin lead solder. I can't manage the new solders, and for a while, I just thought I had lost my soldering skills until it dawned on me that 40/60 tin/lead is now frowned on!
