I have quite a bit of valve gear that isn't in everyday operation which I frequently 'warm up' (every couple of months) over a couple of hours on the variac.
After a 'warm up' session I decided to re-site a Cossor 1035 scope - and noticed a sticky oil stain underneath it. I am assuming this is capacitor or transformer oil leaking. How long its been leaking I have no idea. The scope worked fine during the 2 hours or so it was switched on.
I am not familiar with the inside of the scope, and I am in two minds as whether its worth lifting the bonnet on
Has anyone any experience with the 1035 ?
Regards
Paul
