Ruth and I went for a long walk on Saturday. Ruth spotted this Rediffusion access cover. I assume it was from a long abandoned TV cable distribution system. This is the location, on the borders of Hampstead and Kentish Town: https://goo.gl/maps/x8mazEuyN87U8oxf6 You can see the GPO access cover that's in my photo.
Could have even dated back to an earlier radio distribution system.

When I was at school in the 1960s/70s the father of one of my friends worked for British Relay. I assume they were in competition with Rediffusion.
