Had a few troubles with my modem/router recently. A few days ago the wifi stopped working. My phone etc could see the signal but wouldn't connect. Yesterday all internet access failed, couldn't even ping the router from a PC. Switching the router off and on fixed it. Today it's working but the web interface isn't. It all seems to work apart from that, including ping.
It's a TP-LINK TD-W9980, about 4 years old and otherwise impeccably reliable. In the past it's run for over a year without any issues, limited only by deliberate switching off for other reasons.

I think my first step should be to find an alterntaive wallwart PSU. What do others think?
