It's declining slowly as you's expect. This time around, TVL/BBC didn't contact me for rent-a-quote so they are not pushing it so hard this time. A google search shows it's reached various news outlets.
Number of people genuinely watching in B&W? A lot less than 6000. Will BBC/TVL do anything about it? No, because it's not worth it for about 6 miillion quid and some potential bad publicity.
At some point they will abolish B&W licences, or we might reach a point where BBC funding is done differently. That's a controversial and political subject so possibly best not to take that further here.
