If you have a floppy drive on a piece of kit you'll probably be complaining that it's unreliable. If it's an ordianry PC there are various "USB floppy" solutions but for other kit these are unlikely to work as there's no USB port. You need something with a 34 pin connector.
Examples include CNC machines, testgear such as the HP4195A network analyser and plernty of other stuff. Some, such as the HP ki,t use non-standard formatting such as LIF so the disks are difficult if not impossible to read on a PC.
