I restored one of these and the article is in the latest BVWS Bulletin. It turned out well and gets played everyday at the moment.
Lots helped me find missing parts including Jeffrey who found replacement can type capacitors for me to modify and re-stuff.
In the article I asked if anyone had one would they contact me and yesterday a BVWS member did. He eventually gave it to Gerry and my question is is it still in the Museum?
Its a difficult journey from where I live so if anyone helps / goes regularly would they have a look for me. Also does the tuning drive still work? Mine has a little backlash, maybe a 1/4" of the knob movement and I would still like to cure that.
If its still there and meets those requirements then maybe a trip would be worthwhile.
thanks Gary
