Hi as there only 2 receivable radio stations where a live ( Talk Sport and the announcement on the old Radio 4 Frequency to retune to DAB ) no thanks so the pantry transmitter is an option. There is one on ebay I really thinking about buying is eBay number 395318794589 but in a Bluetooth version ( please no disrespectfu comments about the seller or eBay ) & I know the legalities of using one kind regards Bob
This looks far too powerful for a pantry TX. Although MW is now more or less a free for all there's no reason to go broadcasting well beyond your own house.

I don't know if the SSTRAN AMT3000 is still available: https://ab1dq.com/2019/01/20/sstran-amt3...ansmitter/
Hi Jeffery thanks for reply thanks for reply i like the look and build quality of one on eBay and I would be using a small length of wire so it would not cause any problems where I live kind regards Bob
Hi.
1 watt will not go far with an inefficient antenna, 100 milliwatts will go a long way with an efficient antenna, take your choice!!
In fact a low power pantry tx and a rubbish antenna is a waste of time.
It's expensive.
Hi thanks for replies it might be expensive ? but it is not mass produced hand made and how long to build & setup? . The vendor made one someone in London and it has been on 24/7 for over 2 years with no issue and what Trevor has suggested he will be right about a low power with a rubbish Antenna . Kind regards Bob
The box from the outside looks a reasonable build but there are no images of the inside? I would need some before parting with my money.

I do agree that covering the whole house with a short piece of wire is the way to go ...

If you buy one please let us know how you get on

thanks Gary
Hi Gary thanks for reply and advise if you google sjvbroadcastservices.com there is more information and setup instructions and pictures of inside the transmitter kind regards Bob
Strange that they seem to have put a lot of effort into designing the transmitters but some things are amateur.

A piece of choc block for the aerial connections and not neat labels.  Even Dyno tape would have looked better.  Then not much of an inside view but this connection doesnt inspire confidence.

The price isn't far off that of the SSTRAN AMT3000 when it was available (the kit was cheaper).
