It's not often we see a new home constructed TV set. My friend Kevin has constructed his version of the Practical Television magazine "Personal" television receiver.
Except for some different valves, e.g. EF95 replaced by EF91s the rest of the circuit is exactly the same as described in the magazine.
Green phosphor electrostatic CRT.
In terms of construction the chassis is made to resemble the Pilot TV37.
The RF circuits remain to be sorted out. TRF receiver for channel B1.

In what year was this copy made? Indeed, it very much resembles Pilot TV from the US
It does.

V.G. Looking forward to seeing the screen shots.

The design of this TV receiver follows an article in the Practical Television magazine. Kevin intends to construct a cabinet that will be similar in appearance to the Pilot TV37.
So far I haven't found the specific magazine which provided the circuit diagram and constructional details, coil winding etc.
The attachment shows another TV receiver construction project and is from the April 1954 Practical Television magazine.
