Many still play games on the historic BBC micro.
I've always considered it was worthy of more than that.

Now  have 3 fluxgate magnetometers each feeding their outputs into an
ADVAL input on micro and recorded to disk as 3 files.

3 fluxgates  are detecting changes in earth's magnetic field in all directions.
Program written for micro shows east/west as horizontal position on screen and
north/south as vertical position.

The vertical input is now drawn as a vertical line whose length represents
the vert component of the magnetic field.
So when played back this line will wander about the screen
varying in length as it goes.

It's good to hear of one that is still going, with useful purpose. I think that many would view them as primitive these days but many of the older micros are still useful enough for quite involved tasks.

You need these to compare with your results.

That only shows direction whereas I am plotting field strength changes
not direction.
I do have a torsion magnetometer though that can show directional changes.
The trouble is that every time a car goes by 60 feet away it goes
bonkers. :-)
