Just to double check - can these be used for mains voltage safely?
Not in the open.
They are fine for internal wiring in an enclosure.

It's as much about current as voltage - you need the right crimp colour for the current & wire cross-sectional area. What do you want to use them for?

Just for info:
  • RED CRIMP
    Area, wire size: 0.25 - 1.65mm²
    Current rating: 19A
    Material, contact: Electro-tinned Copper
    Material, insulator: Coloured Vinyl
    Temp, op: -20 - 85°C
    Voltage rating, AC: 415V

  • BLUE CRIMP
    Area, wire size: 1.04 - 2.63mm²
    Current rating: 27A
    Material, contact: Electro-tinned Copper
    Material, insulator: Coloured Vinyl
    Temp: -20 - 85°C
    Voltage rating, AC: 415V

  • YELLOW CRIMP
    Area, wire size: 2.63 - 6.64mm²
    Current rating: 48A
    Material, contact: Electro-tinned Copper
    Material, insulator: Coloured Vinyl
    Temp: -20 - 85°C
    Voltage rating, AC: 415V
For a new mains switch I'm adding to my WEM custom 15.

Best regards

The red or blue crimps will be absolutely fine.
Thanks, much appreciated
