Golborne Vintage Radio

My late father, Peter Smith, was an enthusiastic collector of vintage radios and televisions and BVWS member. A significant part of his collection is to be auctioned at SAS in Newbury on Tuesday 30th March including a magnetic detector, HMV901 prewar television, vintage radios and parts. Let's take a moment to remember Peter. I met him many times at vintage wireless events; he always had interesting ideas, frequently put into practice. He also helped me evaluate standards converter performance for low definition (30 line etc) resolutions. A lovely man who will be much missed.
