Golborne Vintage Radio

I have, thanks to Dennis & OTT, obtained a CRT tester suitable for testing early tubes as it has a heater transformer with tappings from 2V to 12.6 and not a current generator which, it seems, most more modern testers have for heater supply.

One problem is I have no information, operational or technical about it. Does anyone have such information? If so, I would love a scan or be able to borrow the information so that I can scan and clean it up.

It was made by Gruenther Instruments Ltd and has no model number. I can only assume that it is called "the Beamec".

So very pleased you got it, I will have a hunt around for you, there must be a circuit and data manual about.,Mauriton might be a good start.

For example I have a Taylor 94A 405 TV AM/FM alignment generator, when I got it I did not have a manual or schematic, subsequently in time both turned up, so I'm sure if all members keep their eyes open we will sort you out.

I have three of these units, and I think each is slightly different (and one is a bit of a basket case). However I've never found even a snifter of a manual for it, so if one does turn up I too would be most interested.
