I have updated the firmware on the Hedghog PSC webpage.
The FPGA and PIC firmware has changed and also the menu description has been updated to take account of the changes.
The update adds some new features.
It can now convert from 525 lines as well as 625 lines. The input standard is automatically detected.
I have also added some test patterns. Test card, Grey scale, Cross hatch, cruciform, Black screen and White screen.
The test patterns are inserted before the converter so are available on all output standards.

In some respects, this converter is even better than Darryl's World Converter. This is because the output parameters can be adjusted by the user. So if your set needs unusually wide H blanking or some other oddity this can be done. The main weakness is lack of proper stored testcards.
Just to let anyone know whom may be interested, the crippled electronics supply chain has now caught up with me.
This means at the moment the FPGA`s are not available in the UK and are only back order from most reputable supplies with dates as far as next Feb.
Trying china imports as an alternative, for me at least orders get cancelled either straight away, or after 14 days. Its still a risk trying this though as many are pulls or fake.(they too have almost doubled in price in the past month)
My Remaining stock currently at same usual price, once these have gone the price may have to reflect whats achievable.
