Hi,
I've recently acquired a crb checker and while searching for details came across some posts on here. I joined the forum today to see if I could get some pictures of the wiring on one that actually works. Mine has been messed about with a lot, including having the rectifier replaced with a diode and a couple of capacitors across the outward side of the new rectifier circuit. I still have ac on the valve and can't seem to get around this. I would very much appreciate something to check mine against that is known to work.

Morning Mike is it a CRB 1/2/or 3 if you can put a photo on it will help to get working.

To post a photo you need to use the preview screen as it has a full editor with the photo facility you need.

Well I've decided to just remove all the wiring and components that look like they aren't original, (most of it) and rewire it as per the diagram, checking along the way to see if it's different in any way. It's a mess and needs doing. Hopefully this will work out. The only question is, if there's 3 incarnations of it, is the diagram with handwritten notes on it correct for the one I have. Please also if anyone has a working one could I get some photos of its insides, to check against mine.

Well I've wired it up as per the diagram and....nothing ?.
