rebuilding a b126 battery
pic 1 remove insides
pic 2 3 conect modual
last pic fitted int box using a cardboard tube to keep box stiff, fitted in a vidor radio .the ad35 is simply 2 x u2 batteries
the pp3 will be changed for 4x aaa rechargables when i get some more holders, the cheep pp3 only lasts 2hours
the only small point is the 5ma standing curent for the modual so realy needs a switch total build cost £12

i had to find something other and cheeper than trying to stuff 10 pp3 s into the old battery ,works well for a cost of £11 the pp3 is only temp because i ran out of aa battery holders the ones that hold 4 batteries you then get about 10 hour use

What about an old fashioned battery eliminator Rob, or do you want to keep it portable?. I wonder if these 90 volt batteries are made in India at all....Regards....Alan.
i have an eliminator which i use for fault finding ect .but yes i want to keep them portable. itried to sause new ht batteries but no luck ,mind you getting old ht batteries is getting hard/expensive i think mike must have them all
