At the recent RWB meeting I, in a moments weakness bought a box of meters in the auction. Amongst them was this item. I have not seen one of these before so I thought I would share it here.
It is based on the multiminor but has zener diodes which can be selected with the range switch. Zerer voltage and current can also be read.

There can't be too many people who need to test zeners on a regular basis to the point where they need a dedicated meter. Presumably enough for AVO to make them as a product. ISTR there was a recent thread in which somebody was going to build a zener diode tester.
If I need to test zeners it's a bench PSU, resistor (effectively a low grade current source) and DVM.
What Batteries are in there?
If it's going to test a 27V Zener it's going to need a bit more than the usual AA.

A bit of an update, it is not for testing Zeners, but provides the switch selected internal Zener, to the external circuit under test. There are no internal batteries.
Reading between the lines of the small instruction booklet, the Meter was made for International Rectifier by AVO.
That makes a lot more sense

I can't say that I've ever felt the need, but ......
Does the Meter measure the Zener Current? If so what about the Meter Drop?
