Golborne Vintage Radio

I have a restored Phillips 353A.
Mid morning today it was on FM Radio 4 and for about 15 minutes a signal in Dutch or German came through quite strongly for about 15 minutes fading in and out several times during this period.

We are in the Midlands level with The Wash and North Wales.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this today?

Not me, no VHF radio to hand at the moment, sounds like Sporadic E.

I was listening to a local FM station here in Teesside, and a strong interfering signal came through, again in German. The station was on 96.6. Then I switched to another local station and that had the same interference - on 100.7

That was around 10:30 to 11:00

Yes at about 10:20am.
I wonder if there is an expert whom can give a better idea where the signals were coming from by making a study of the satellite photo?
The upper short wave might be interesting too.

Depends on what that sat photo is showing, looking at the atmospheric pressure map I don't think it's tropo but I'm no expert, it's a long time since I did any TV DX.

It's the season for Sporadic E though for sure.
