Golborne Vintage Radio

I found this on the 'Net . . . . and it brought back all the memories from my early SWL days during the mid-60's to early '70's. I don't know why, but even now the opening phrase of the signature tune from Radio Tirana still haunts me - there's something so evocative about it - something so demanding of my attention.

For the enthusiastic SWL, the most useful thing about the Woodpecker was its use for testing noise limiters in comms. radios!
