Hello.
The CRB3 came this morning by 2pm all the Capacitors and a new mains lead had been replaced. All the Resistors are ok so now it working like new.

Is the 3 much different to the 2? Advance 'upped' the last digit or letter on their Signal Generators, but the design stayed the same. Often they just put the works into a more modern case and used later valves.

I beleive that that its a simpler machine in operation and is somewhat different to use than the CRB2.

Alan has you say the desing is the same but with more modern parts in it and has Rob say this makes it more simpler to work with than the CRB2 and with the EM34 you have 2 V to line up.
