Have you got an old Radio in the Attic?

Well, you've come to the right place. Forget the salesman, forget relatives and friends who tell you that it won't work anymore and that it should be a 'Museum Piece'. Most can be got working and can still be used. Dare I admit that a good VHF radio is better than DAB? It is as a matter of fact. Syluses (or is that Styli?) and cartridges can still be got. That tape of your Grandma from years ago can still be played and the tape recorder can be got going again. And get this too: all TV sets from 1964 onwards can receive digital programmes! With an extra piece of kit, any TV from 1936 can still be used to watch Digital TV.

No, I am not kidding!!

On this website and its forum, you can get information about repairs, manuals, places to get spares from or, if you're not sure about attempting such work, we can do it for you. It's up to you which path you take. We can be contacted on the 'Contact' page.

Most valves can still be got as well! But it's rarely a valve that has failed, or if one has failed, something caused it to fail, usually a capacitor.

Please, though, if you are going to do any repairs yourself, always put safety first. Please read the disclaimer.
